
Andrea Farri was born on February 1982 in Rome. He studied piano at the School of Popular Music of Testaccio and was thought by the jazz musician Andrea Alberti. He also graduated with a Modern History degree at the University of Rome.
Andrea's parents are both artists. He began writing music for the theater since his youth and signed his first movie soundtrack when he was only twenty five years old. He has an extensive experience as assistant director, including "La Tigre e la Neve" by Roberto Benigni.
He wrote and orchestrated the soundtracks for "Un Gioco da Ragazze" by Matteo Rovere, the television series "La Scelta di Laura" by Alessandro Piva, "Squadra Antimafia Palermo Oggi" by Pier Belloni, "Squadra Antimafia Palermo Oggi 2 " by Beniamino Catena, as well as the movies "Il Richiamo" by Stefano Pasetto, "Henry" by Alessandro Piva and "Quando la Notte" by Cristina Comencini.
In the theater Andrea has collaborated with Stefano Benni, Lucia Poli, Alessandro Preziosi, Paolo Poli, Lidia Ravera, ElleKappa, Massimo Wertmuller, Remo Remotti, Alda Merini.
He also writes songs and collaborated with other artists such as Nada, L'Aura and Lara Martelli. |
